Before you buy a SoClean® or Ozone Cpap cleaning machine you should do some basic research.  You have a computer or you would not be on this site.  Use it. Goggle "IS OZONE SAFE?"   A C pap machine is a medical device that requires a prescription to get.  It takes a Doctors recommendation just to get one. Try and buy one without it.  Yet millions of people each year buy some really dangerous equipment just to clean it.  99% of all the Cpap machines sold in America today and on ebay are OZONE generators.  Did you do your research and type in "is ozone safe" ?  If you did, you will see the number one answer to that question is from the United States Government and its Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  We all have heard of them, they are the folks that pushed Covid mask for the entire population.  Here is what they have to say about OZONE:   and I quote

Conclusions. Whether in its pure form or mixed with other chemicals,

can be harmful to health
. When inhaled,
ozone
can damage the lungs. Relatively low amounts of
ozone
can cause chest pain, coughing, shortness of breath and, throat irritation."
This is the number one answer you will get on google.
Yet thousands of you are purchasing Cpap cleaners that are harmful to your health.
You can not even buy a pack of cigarettes without the Surgeon General telling it is harmful to your health and yet, millions buy the darn things that usually end up needing a Cpap machine.
You would not be using a Cpap machine if your lungs were healthy and well.
Most have COPD and lung problems.
That is why the Doctor prescribes the machine for you in the first place.
If you really are interested in the truth, why not Google 3B Vs. SoClean® and look at the lab reports of the unit found in the exhibits of the lawsuit.
On a couple of the test results, SoClean® was over 25 times the safe limit by the EPA.
It took over 24 hours for 50% of the Ozone to dissipate.
Simply stated, it doesn’t go away and their little carbon filter doesn’t prevent ozone from leaking into your bedroom.
Now in fairness to SoClean®, the suit was dismissed as 3B could not actually show damages that a competitor was harmed.
This opens up a huge opportunity for lawyers like the ones who got a Billion Dollar settlement from makers of a weed killer that gave people cancer.
All a smart lawyer would have to do is gather a list of people who died from using a SoClean® machine or those who used Ozone to clean their units and you have one of the largest Class Action suits ever brought into federal court.
The judgments would be in the Billions of Dollars as you can’t imagine how many people died from COPD, Lung Cancer and host of other illness while using a Cpap machine that was cleaned by ozone.
I would like to see them dodge that bullet.
The U.S. Government says ozone is unsafe at any level and recommends do not use if parts per million exceeds 5.
Even OSHA says don’t go over 10 ppm and yet SoClean® tested over 25 times that limit by a DEA approved lab.
All I am saying folks is be careful with what you buy.
Those cheap little ozone generators made in China could kill you.
Yes, they are or but you could easily get sick from using one.
Ask your Doctor then decide.
By the way, the 1903 Nobel Prize was awarded to a Doctor who used UV light to kill bacteria and germs that caused Tuberculosis.
You don’t hear much about TB anymore as he came up with a cure for it.
Almost every water treatment plant in Europe uses UV light to sterilize its water supplies.
If you have ever bought a bottle of water, the odds are, it was sterilized by UV treatment.
Every kid who ever had an aquarium knows that a UV light kills the bacteria, germs and pathogens in their fish tank.
Every major hospital in the United States uses UV light to sterilize not only their patient rooms, but their operating and surgical rooms as well.
If it doesn’t have a UV light in it, I would think twice about buying it.
If it is an “ozone” generator, run, don’t walk and get away from the darn thing.
Like the cigarette pack, a lot of people will not believe me, but those people sooner or later will find out the truth. I just hope they are not too late in seeing the light!
