    Description

    Offered here is one package of 12 NEW Chevrolet Small Block V8 Intake Manifold Hot Oil Heat Shield Drive Rivets.
    This set includes enough rivets to do 3 intake manifolds. Each intake takes 4 rivets.
    This rivet is correct for the following Chevrolet Small Block V8 Engines: 265, 283, 302, 307, 327, 350, 400.
    Chevrolet used a heat shield on the bottom of most Intake Manifolds used from the mid 1950s thru the late 1970s (maybe later years also). This pan is attached to the intake with drive rivets. Just a tap with a hammer and they are installed just like the factory parts.
    NOTE:
    They are made of zinc plated steel, just like GM made them. GM rivets were made of steel, not stainless steel, because stainless steel is brittle and is prone to cracking. These steel rivets will not crack. Do you really want to take a chance of a broken rivet bouncing around inside your new engine?
    The bottom of the intake in the photo is a 327 300 horse power part. It shows the pan with 4 new rivets installed.
